Jan Borchert

Managing Director

As a forestry and agricultural scientist, Jan brings expertise in CO2 neutralization through forests and the need for forest conversion to QF. He understands the sensitive response of forests due to human-made impacts on the ecosystem. In addition, Jan has many years of experience with corporate-funded forest restoration projects. He knows firsthand how business and forest owners work together for the forest ecosystem.

Pascal Frank

Managing Director

Pascal is a recognized specialist in sustainability and sustainability communication. Pascal is characterized by his ability to understand and classify economic, political and social developments, internal corporate processes and the challenges companies are facing today regarding CSRD, CSDD, LkSG, Green Deal, Taxonomy, etc.

Dr. Ing. Ralf-Hubertus Borchert

Advisory Board

Ralf-Hubertus Borchert is an advisory board member of QF. Ralf has many years of experience as spokesman for the management of the Information and Cooperation Forum for Geodata, the InGeoForum at the Fraunhofer Institute for Graphic Data Processing-IGD, member of the advisory board and board of directors of the German Umbrella Association for Geoinformation-DDGI as well as mentor in Forum Kiedrich, association for the support of young companies and start-ups in the field of innovative technologies. Ralf’s previous positions included Vice President of the Hessian State Office for Land Management and Geoinformation until 2021.

Dr. Nicolas zur Nieden

Advisory Board

Nicolas holds a doctorate in business and is a certified public accountant. As a partner of a “Big Four”, he advises large, listed companies on corporate transactions and on the preparation and auditing of annual and consolidated financial statements, including sustainability-related reporting. Nicolas is also a guest lecturer at the TU Munich. Nicolas has deep expertise in auditing and sustainability disclosures and serves as an advisor to the QF team.

Christopher Kopp

Chief Investor Relations Officer

While studying industrial engineering, Christopher started his first business manufacturing and distributing textiles in India and Nepal. This was followed by positions at a large sawmill group and in strategy and M&A consulting at AFRY and KPMG. He then acquired and developed small-cap investments in the energy & climate sector for the investment company of a large medium-sized company. With this experience and a passion for nature, he founded his own consulting and investment business, where he is involved in various companies, primarily in the field of natural capital.

Erik Kaiser

Chief Technical Officer

Erik Kaiser studied industrial engineering with a specialization in mechanical engineering and specialized in the fields of space technology and artificial intelligence. He is the founder of Karuna Technology UG and won the Hessen Ideen-Stipendium in 2018. Subsequently, the company was supported by the ESA BIC Hessen/Baden-Württemberg in Darmstadt and the Social Impact Lab in Frankfurt am Main. The company’s focus is on solving global problems using innovative technologies.
